Reading the signals carefully
Each comparison is against the same person's earlier behaviour, not a general benchmark — there is no such thing as a slow reply in general. When the history is thin, a comparison is weak evidence.
A communication change is a signal to review, not an explanation of what someone is thinking.
Internally this capability is called Pulse. It works only on synchronized email.
Questions
Does it predict which relationships will go wrong?
No. It shows observable changes in how a conversation is going — with the dates and messages behind them — so you can decide whether to look closer. It has not been validated as a forecast.
What signals does it look at?
Things visible in synchronized mail: how quickly replies arrive compared with that person's own history, message length, who starts conversations, unanswered questions and overdue commitments on either side.
How much history does it need?
Comparisons need a reasonable number of past exchanges with the same person — baselines are built from roughly the first fifteen. With less history than that, a comparison means little, so treat any early signal with caution.
What if we mostly talk on calls or chat?
Then email tells only part of the story. TaskFieldAI can only use what reaches it through a supported record.
